London Art Fair 20-25 January 2026
In an unexpected twist of events, we are presenting Fortuity showcasing three artists working in mixed media:
As a Black person brought up in a rough White estate in Essex by foster parents from the Romany gypsy community, Damilola Odusote uses his seemingly playful drawings to draw viewers into the complex political, cultural, and racial dislocation of his personal journey in his search to define his identity.
Milo Burridge explores the relationship between the natural and the man-made worlds. He is drawn to abandoned places where nature has affected the built environment, exposing its ultimate fragility. He treats the “apparent reality” of his photographic prints with experimental technics including paint and bleach to create abstract, dreamlike and contemplative landscapes.
Julian Emsley is a multidisciplinary wood artist who transforms fallen trees and reclaimed natural materials into evocative sculptural forms rooted in materiality that explore the intersection of nature, memory, and sustainability. With a deep respect for the organic world, he creates sculptural works using salvaged wood, transforming them through carving, burning, and finishing processes that highlight their natural life and transformation
